Edit: Since I have had a bunch of entries with hearts and shutters, I'd just like to remind everyone that those were two aspects I didn't want included. It says in the text below that i would prefer if people 'steer clear' of those. Elements of nature, life, contrast between the green and grey, basically, create the feeling of a vibrant image in contrast to the grey. I like trees, particularly birch trees, but again, it doesn't have to be elements of nature either. Besides the shutter and hearts, I'm open to pretty much anything. Please check out the logo samples that I have included to get an idea of what I am into. I'd love to have something that incorporates the colours selected that represents a fresh and professional photography business. Keep in mind that I offer a luxury, high end, service in my region, and would like my logo to reflect the same sort of high end quality. I'm currently just using my name, but feel that a unique logo would be great for my brand. I'd like to steer clear of overused ideas like a shutter logo or heart. I live in a place with a lot of fog and misty weather, so perhaps using the grey to depict mist and green to depict some sort of vibrant life? Totally open mind here! When it comes to fonts, I prefer sans serif fonts. I like simplistic. I could go with a script font if it looks more like printing than script. I'd prefer if the text was all one colour rather than highlighting individual letters.

I like this use of a tree. It simple, yet professional and light. I don't want a logo that is too 'feminine' as I'm a male photographer, however, most of my clients who will be looking ay my portfolio are females. Something that is gender neutral would be best I think

I love the use of the leaf here, as well as additional elements joined to the leaf. My business is based in a rural region on the North Atlantic with a strong maritime history. If somehow the nature with the leaf (green) could be merged with the fog (grey) it would look cool

I love how nature is subtlely incorporated here

Another great looking tree. Perhaps green leaves on a mostly grey tree with script?

Another fine example of what I'm into. Replace the colours to mine, and put your own spin on it, and this sort of look will be great
