I'm putting together a new blog where I can talk about Science Fiction, programming, and my electronics projects. The name of the blog is inspired by a television show, Firefly, that was kind of a science fiction western, and I plan to use the show as inspiration in various little ways (post titles and such).
I also do a little bit of freelance programming, and it's possible that, depending on how the logo turns out, I may use it as a logo on any software I create.

I've picked "Abstract" and "Symbol" above, because they seem to best fit the blog itself. I'd like some kind of symbol (abstract or otherwise) with the name of the blog (or, at least the Eavesdown part of it). I'm kind of looking for something modern or futuristic feel, with a subtle hint of being old at the same time.
I'm not a creative sort of person, really, so I don't have a lot of information to give here, and I fully expect that none of what I say above is particularly helpful.
I may have something else more useful to say once I see a few designs and have an idea of what I like and what I don't.
