Tea Trade is a social network, that offers users the opportunity to host their tea-related blogs on our network. (this is similar to blogger, or WordPress.com - only niche related). We offer all the usual trappings of social netoworking (private messaging, friends, activity stream) If you are familiar with WordPress, it is a WordPress multi-site installation with BuddyPress added for the social layer. In addition to this, we offer a person-to-person and business-to-person marketplace (sometimes called a third-party marketplace) for individuals and businesses to connect and buy and sell loose tea products. It is similar to Etsy in this regard - so an Etsy for tea. The website features a lot of Web 2.0 design concepts throughout using AJAX and connectivity between users. Instructions
The phrase Tea Trade by itself cannot be copyrighted, so we are liking to refer to ourselves as Tea Trade Network with less visual emphasis on the word Network. Additionally, we need to explore the idea of presenting the name similar to the domain hack we use TeaTra.de, though with perhaps a slight space between the words - the period might be offset in a different, more subtle color to reduce the emphasis. We would also like to include a swish or an abstracted leaf design in the logo. Any primary aspect of the logo should be square to be compatible as Twitter and Facebook avatars, but we also have a need for a rectangular header graphic. We are very much open to ideas so please be creative.

In seeing the number of leaf based logos that are being submitted, we think we want to avoid this. We are okay with an abstracted leaf (perhaps a swish, wave or other curve).

Using an actual leaf in the design is somewhat cliche in the niche are we are trying to avoid that. #14 is acceptable so far, but we want to see more choices and variation.

additionally, per our instructions in the main description, we'd like to see the .de present (thought there should be a gap between the two words - but not a full space)

I'd like to see if anyone can do something with some more unique topography. So far, all the the text has been standard and ordinary. Perhaps the text intermixed with a swish to symbolize a leaf.

Also, colors do not have to be green - that is not a requirement.
