Brand logo for a live sci-fi rock show PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW!!
Instructions：
I want to UPDATE my current logo. That means I like the basic idea -- words and a rocket ship.

I just want something that looks more "sci-fi authentic."
The current logo looks too much like a cartoon. I need an update to make it look more retro and more serious. Reference the covers of sci-fi novels from the 1950's and 60's. Illustrations that were made to look realistic. That look will now be very cool because it's more serious retro. That's what I'm after.
PLEASE DON'T DRAW OR SUBMIT SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE A CARTOON. What I want is a rocket taking off -- one that has a feeling of it really being from the future -- but that was drawn in the 1950's.

Open design concept stage had ended with 61 submissions from 17 designers. Go to DESIGNS tab to view all submissions.
Could you please try three changes:
1. Elongate the rocket so it's a little thinner and longer, giving it a sleeker look.
2. And/or Extend the flame coming out of the rocket so that it almost touches the inside of the circle, and
3. Try coloring the words "The SciFi" perhaps in the same gray color as the rocket, or in a lighter red, to compliment the words "Rock Guy."

Thank you -- Edit 2:
1.Please try elongating the ship a bit more (to make it look a little more sleek). So that the bottom of the flame almost touches the inside of the ring.
2. Color the top tip of the ship (currently in black) in the same red as the flame.
3. Lighten the gray color of the words "The Sci-Fi" so it's closer to white -- I'm just looking for a touch of gray, now, so if it's not too much trouble, perhaps you could give me a couple of gradations to choose from?

I more request on this round: Could you please try changing the flame to something a little more realistic -- a straighter thrust ending in pinpoint. Thank you.

Damn -- it erased my notes with that upload. OK:
1. Please try a single line of flame coming out of the ship SOMETHING like the attachment (just shown because it has a single flame. I'm not looking for a flame that long).
2. Provide a couple of lighter shades of grey, say one in 10% and another in 20%, for the words "The Sci-Fi"
3. And one more with that same lettering in 100% white.
4. And finally, if you be so kind as to provide the last few iterations in Photoshop php, so I can play with layers, coloring, etc., myself and sign off with you.
