The name Mach Point Two Aviation is our attempt at a witty, slightly humorous reference to the speed of the aircraft we lease. The faster the Mach number, the faster the airplane flies. Commercial jets fly at around Mach .8 (80% of the speed of sound), whereas our aircraft fly at speeds significantly less- around Mach .2 or so. The Piper PA-28 Cherokee and Cessna C-172 Skyhawk airplanes we buy, sell, and lease are leisure-use aircraft, and are meant for pilot training and travel; hence, they fly low and slow. The individuals that fly our aircraft do so for fun on their days off, and fly commercial jets as their primary occupation. What our logo should communicate is professionalism mixed with adventure and enjoyment. Appropriate logo representations could include an aircraft Mach meter instrument at the lower end of its scale, and/or a Piper Cherokee or Cessna Skyhawk aircraft. The "badge" type of logos are ideal, but please let your creativity and detail flow!

Less than 12 hours into this project and many great designs have been submitted. Thank you to all who have taken the time to be so creative! We have noticed that many of the designs incorporate mountains. The designs themselves look great, but our company has nothing to do with mountains. We are a company based along in Texas, near the Gulf of Mexico, so mountains do not make any sense for us. If anything, our aircraft fly along the coastline or tall pine forests or farmland. Logo designs with remain aviation related are most helpful, especially if it they can incorporate a Mach meter and airplane idea. Thank you for taking these ideas into consideration.
