Company Intro：

The Leatherback Project (TLP) is a new NGO that I am starting. I am a 26 year old marine biologist that has been studying leatherback sea turtles for the past few years. My research has brought me to Latin America, the Caribbean and West Africa so far. I would like TLP to be a global leatherback research, conservation and education/outreach program!

Instructions：

Hello designers! I would like the logo to be anatomically accurate. Leatherback sea turtles have a soft tear drop shaped shell with 7 ridges. I like the turquoise sea turtle logo in the attached image! What if instead of rain drops the turtle and seven ridges were just outlined in turquoise? I like the tracks on either side of the turtle the way they are represented! I really like the turquoise coloring and definitely want there to be a turtle in the logo. All of our paraphernalia will likely be black with turquoise stitching. The idea of having Leatherback Project be larger with The either smaller or in a different color could be appealing (like "The Joshua Wave" for example)? This is going to be a global research, conservation and public outreach/organization, so I like the idea of it being professional looking but not to boxy/boring/stark. I think I like the Luau Lights styling. A logo like the Gili Shark Conservation one (attached) could also be a great idea! The shark could be replaced with a leatherback! I also have a crazy thought...what if a globe was somehow incorporated into the logo? Either in the O of project or as part of a circular logo? These are just my ideas but I am very open to opinions from actual logo designers! I'm excited to see what you all come up with and have attached actual leatherback sea turtle photos in case it is useful to you.
