- Logo Name:
- THETOKYOTOURIST
- Company Intro:
- A travel site for Tokyo with focus on the typical touristy stuff, but also the many hidden gems.
- Instructions:
- Hi guys! To be perfectly honest I do not have a crystal clear and exact vision for how the logo should look. So I do have to apologize that my description is not as specific as I would like it to be. Some ideas and suggestions: - If possible: New and modern, meets old traditions. - I think the logo will look better in all caps instead of "TheTokyoTourist." With maybe a slightly different color on the word "Tokyo" to make it more readable. - The font could be something "oriental looking" (sorry if this expression is not PC) as long as it doesn't look cheesy. - I'm open for a small illustration (like the gate from the Meiji Shrine) or something else topical. - As you can see from my selected sample logos and one of my attachments, I think roundish logos could work quite well. Maybe it's possible to somehow combine it with the Japanese flag? (Attachment 1?) - Colors: White, black, grey and/or dark red. Open for suggestions! - Maybe something inspired from the selected sample logo "itook tuk tuk" and "campin' OC" with a Tokyo skyline in the background and something more old-fashioned in the foreground? Again, I'm sorry this is a bit all over the place, but I'm not that creative. I'm really hoping you talented guys can translate my ramblings into a beautiful and suitable logo. Feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions. I'll try to answer as fast as possible.

- CThank you so much for all your skilled work. You've really inspired me! There's still 10 hours left, so feel free to contribute. Something black/blue would be interesting! Although I've gotten some great logos, I'm still far from decided.

- CThank you everybody. Many nice logos, but in the end I liked mattlyn's the best. www.thetokyotourist.com
