BRIEF
DESIGNS (117)
- Logo Name:
- The 5 and 2 Project
- Company Intro:
- This logo will be the face of a new media company focused on storytelling, filming live events, video editing, and creating video content (documentaries, music videos, interviews, etc) for non-profits or philanthropic companies. This company will produce video content from scratch with a quick turnaround (matter of days, not weeks or months). The 5 and 2 represent the Five Loaves (of Bread) and 2 Fish that Jesus used to feed the 5,000 people in the Bible (book of Matthew 14:17-21). It represents the idea that small and simple things (like 5 loaves and 2 fishes) can become big things very quickly, almost instantly (enough loaves and fish to feed 5,000 people). Just like what we want to do is create quality video content quickly to reach large audiences.
- Instructions:
- - Open to ideas, but I do not want a logo that is too fancy or busy with way too much detail, but I would like it timeless and simple. I would like it to be pretty easily readable. I like straight lines normally, but I am intrigued by some of the handwritten scripting logos I saw so would like to see some of those logos. I am thinking black and white. White background with a black logo, or white background with a black logo. (Possibly both would work if flipped). Greys and shades of black and white are ok too. I am not imagining anything too colorful for sure. - ***REMOVING THIS SECTION > The logo does NOT need to have 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish images in it. I am not overly creative so if there is a cool way to incorporate loaves and fish that are obvious to someone looking at the logo, then that’s great. But using the numbers 5 and 2 in a cool way is fine. I do not want the loaves of bread and fish to dominate the image, if it is used. *** - I like the idea of somewhere incorporating a SMALL logo of a GoPro or video camera in the logo so a client can tell my company is a media company if they look at the logo. I don’t want this video camera logo to dominate the image though, just be an accent. Look at the logo on The Gradz Agency logo I selected as a sample logo. - ***UPDATED > If you can come up with a creative way of presenting the “5 and 2” as a middle line, leaving the first line THE , and last line PROJECT, as simply lettering, that might work. *** - ***REMOVING THIS SECTION > I had an idea (that I don’t know if would work) for a logo. I am NOT married to this idea at all, just giving you an idea that would tell the story of 5 and 2 starting two and becoming larger. *** Line 1: The Line 2: (5 loaves and 2 fish cast a shadow into large numbers 5 and 2 behind it) Or Line 2: (the numbers 5 and 2 cast a larger shadow of the numbers 5 and 2 behind it) Line 3: Project - ***UPDATED > I loaded some pictures to help as well, but a few ideas after thinking about it. (1) IF someone could make a logo with the projector style count down numbers “5” and “2” incorporated then there is no need for a camera image or loaves and fishes. (2) I have included a picture of a drop shadow, where the actual 5 and 2 numbers in the foreground are smaller than the shadow they cast. (3) Make a logo intertwining 5 and 2 together and simply write out, The 5 and 2 Project above or below it. - I Think the sample logos I picked are pretty good reflections of what appeals to me. - I am trying to get logos for use on a website, and to use on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to start. Also something to print on a business card or shirt. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to working with you on this project, and hopefully many more if this is successful (my first time on platform).

- CHi everyone. Thanks for your participation. After thinking about it and seeing some of the initial logos, I added some comments in the description and uploaded some pictures with some ideas to keep things going in the right direction. Thanks for the hard work.
- CYou all are VERY talented! I appreciate all the submissions. If you would like to submit a totally different design from my description, go for it. It’s highly likely I will pick more than 1 winner, and am definitely looking to find several of you on 48hourslogo to work with regularly in the future.
- CThank you all again for your creativity. I have some very tough choices to choose from, all so original!
- CThank you to everyone who participated. I have had a wonderful experience on this logo platform and wish you all the best of luck. You made it extremely hard for me to pick just 1 logo that I love.
