Float Orange is located in the city of Orange, NSW Australia and is a natural health clinic with existing chiropractic, massage, dry needling and yoga practitioners. The Float Orange business is aligned with the Vision of "being the most trusted provider of therapies for those musculoskeletal conditions that inhibit a person's ability to live their life without pain and without restriction of movement. Our float tank is a Dreampod (www.dream-pod.com) brand which allows users to isolate themselves from the stressors and distractions of the outside world. Floating in about 400 litres of water warmed to body temperature and containing about 400kgs of epsom salts, a feeling of floating in space is experienced by the user. Because the water is at normal body temperature, the floater cannot discern where their skin ends and the water begins. To me, this feels like what being in the womb was like. Our clients float for one hour and they choose to float for many reasons; - general health: Floating triggers a “reset” for the body and mind and can help restore structural, neuro-chemical and metabolic imbalances - meditation: Within just a few minutes, floating can induce a deep meditative state because it helps our client to reach theta state ... where deep relaxation, meditation and subconscious mental imagery abound - cleansing detox: the magnesium laden epsom salts help flush toxins from the body, thus easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances. - some medical conditions: There are studies available that floating can help specific conditions such as hypertension, fibromyalgia, neurological and endocrine disorders, structural imbalance, sleep disturbances, anxiety, and depression. - natural healing: Floating can be a perfect complement to any treatment, traditional and alternative; for mentally, physical and emotional conditions -stress relief: As an antidote to personal and societal demands, multi-tasking and over-stimulation of the senses, floating can help you effectively and quickly let go of stress. Stress drains the body of magnesium and increases levels of adrenaline. The abundance of Epsom salts in our float tank is absorbed through the skin and replenishes the level of magnesium in the body. - enhances athletic performance and recovery: Floating helps the body to recover quickly from intense physical workouts and allows the athlete to train more often and reduce the risk of injury - deep relaxation: the magnesium absorbed into the body helps to produce serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of calm and relaxation. The mind can slip into a meditative brain wave state of Theta and Delta (between waking and sleep), typically without losing consciousness. Instructions：

The goal for this logo is to convey a feeling of calm and serenity when seen for the first time. I believe these feelings can be conveyed through the colours chosen. The first time viewer of the logo will also understand the benefits they will derive from floating with Float Orange; get natural relief from aches and pains as well as reducing stress in their life and mind. The logo title is "Float Orange". The tagline is "soothe the body. calm your mind". Please choose font(s) that allow "Float Orange" to be easily recognisable and the tagline font to convey a sense of soothing calm. The text of Float Orange can be all lower case if you feel this allows the design goals to be achieved. I would like the word "Orange" to appear in a tone that is balanced by the colour of the word "Float". Given that water is the key component to floating, a calming blue colour should be used somewhere in the logo. I've attached an examples of logos which have design elements similar to my needs. I like curved lines (suggesting smoothness, fluidity) and the more bold text which conveys the business name and benefits of their service. Our demographics are primarily women; about a 85:15 ratio with men. The finished logo is to be provided as a stand alone "Float Orange" (without the tagline) and a version with the tagline. The colour scheme of the float room is somewhat earthy; polished concrete floors with the aggregrate showing through. The walls are painted a sand colour and the room has white accents. Please choose logo colours which compliment these colours but not replicate them. I need the logo to stand out in this room but also not overwhelm the viewer.
