I like simple designs and am drawn toward circles however if you have a great idea in another shape I say go for it. The site IS about sailing so boat and sail shapes are all fair game. Stay away from the old tall ships though and stick with the more modern "Bermuda sloop" design.
I would like to incorporate the colors blue (for the sea) and black and prefer high value medium chroma colors.
