(Boomers) Our typical process involves transitioning clients from one employment paycheck, to many retirement income paychecks (CPP, OAS, RIF, LIF, DB Pension, TFSA, Non-registered savings, Investment returns, Proceeds from sale of business, Inheritance etc). We calculate retirement income plans that prioritizes ("cascades") these cash flows in a manner that creates sustainable income for the life of our client, and simplifies their estate for the executors names in their will (typically loved ones).
