- Logo Name:
- CREATE CIVIL
- Company Intro:
- The company offers professional engineering and consulting services, with an out of the box style. The mission of Create Civil is embodied by the chosen name: We aim to create all things civil. We hold genuine interest in positively affecting the civilization around us, and in order to do so most effectively, we reach beyond the borders of conventional engineering, offering services in education, arts, health and wellness, and horticulture. Create Civil is primarily a consulting company, and the branding should move along the lines of 'under the sun' consulting services (civil/environmental, water systems, energy (renewable and oil & gas), soils/geotechnical, transportation). Think Next Generation Environmental Engineers. The consulting is being geared heavily towards Education and production of educational media.

- UPDATE 3 - Please see the spiral concept that was uploaded. I'd like to see this added into the design. Thanks everyone. UPDATE 2 - I've uploaded a PDF with some markups. Thanks everyone for contributing so far. UPDATE 1 - Wow! I'm blown away by the talent on this site. I posted the contest thinking I knew what I wanted, but I am being moved by designs that broke the boundaries. So to update my feelings: Courier new font is not necessary to hold, nor is the circular standard approach. Color is nice, and accentuation of CREATE seems appropriate. I really like the logos that have depth (that can be viewed as different depending on perception, i.e. Is it a cube? Is it a C? is it 2 C's? is it a Hexagon?) Thank you! The design should communicate a Technical/Logical/Scientific approach with Creative/Artistic/Intuitive expression. The logo should present well in all color variations, but should most frequently be displayed in black and white. I would like the logo to stand alone by itself without the company name, or the company name being displayed in various styles. Simplicity seems to be speaking to me, design accordingly.
Reference Samples:
- CAlso, I'm less interested in large font, more interested in seeing a large logo so that I can see the detail.
- CI think it'd be cool to merge what we've already got, with the rectangle/spiral. Thanks everyone for the awesome designs.
- CThanks for the patience with the shift. My wife says we need to add creative complexity :)
- CI'm open to new directions too. Geometry and proportion is important.
- CSPIRAL
- CPlease use the spiral. It doesn't have to be the "C", but I'd like to see it placed in the design somehow.
