The Iron Angel is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower US Military veterans and their families through fitness, nutrition and mental skills training . Providing the support they need to successfully transition back into civilian society.
Among the many challenges for soldiers returning home from combat is finding a renewed sense of camaraderie and affiliation with likeminded others. In addition, re-entry into a Civilian society includes adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors, both mentally and physically. For both the soldier, and their family, access to resources that provide these essential skills can drastically improve the transitional process. The Iron Angel serves to fill this gap and be a catalyst for change.
