We provide outsourced compliance services to healthcare providers and vendors/contractors. Our service allows customers to check lists of names (of employees, vendors, etc.) against our sets of government and industry sanction databases to make sure their entities have NOT been sanctioned (gotten in trouble), which would disqualify those entities from providing service to certain patient populations or payers (e.g., Medicare). They value the security of their information, a comprehensive one-stop coverage of all their search needs, avoidance of risk/adherence with laws and compliance standards, ease of use, etc.

    Instructions
Update: attached colorway mock up of name, as compared to parent company logo

Update: Please have main colorways be red/dark red/grey; you may use some blue to hint at the parent company, but only as an accent; please have SANCTIONCHECK in all caps with the first word colored red and the second word as you think looks well (we want to mimic the parent company logo which has blue first word and bold/white second word, but it DOESN'T have to be exactly like that / can be non-white CHECK word). The CAPS elements below are guides to the abstract concepts we might want to communicate, but not the only things you can use. e.g., if check means OK, maybe look at a + or thumbs up; may want to convey layers of database and manual refinements, a SCREEN leading to EXCLUSIONS and resulting in a good set of results, etc. Winner will have a clean design that has some relevant (if abstract) tie to the nature of the business, and good styling. Thanks for your submissions!

Update: after several entries missing the mark, maybe I can focus this more. I'd like the logo (image/icon) to include something related to the business, even if abstract. See CAPS words below, but may consider (instead of a check) something to represent safety/security (a shield) from fines, a clean or approved list, comparing lists (matching things), or reducing complexity. [I'll try to add prompts if/as I think of them]

Update: Please make Red the primary (non-neutral) color of the logo design. The company has had a red color scheme before. We don't need red to be too over-bearing but probably need to include that (can be minor).

Some thoughts about design ideas have included a check mark, shield, something indicating a list, something hinting at a comprehensive search of a bunch of information (what is that? a globe with matrix code in front of it?) - OR maybe no icon and the logo is just the name. Some elements of our product include: CHECK submitted names against government sanction databases; MATCH submitted names to sanction names; Compare LISTS of names in an indexed database; CLEAR or RULE OUT names that seems like matches. Just some elements of our business that might make it into a logo.

This is a division of ComplianceLine (www.ComplianceLine.com) in case you want to compare to our parent company logo (don't love the icon, either, but it's what we have right now). This SanctionCheck logo should have some cohesion with the name presentation of ComplianceLine (all caps, two different shades for the two run-together words)

Anything I can do to get some better action here? I've only had one mildly decent submission.

Can I extend the contest? I've realized my 48 hour term basically runs me into the weekend which I imagine is not a great time for submissions.
