Logo Name:
    Alpha Lume
    Company Intro:
Our business will be an eCommerce store that will focus on selling modern Industrial, Commercial and Residential LED Lighting. We will be focusing on selling to Lighting designers, maintenance managers, electricians, and home owners.
    Instructions:
The logo will be for a high end eCommerce site so we need it to build trust in the visitors. It should be strong but very elegant. Please keep in mind, the products will be pricy and the logo should reflect the value of the products. We expect high-end customers to feel the website is a lifestyle place to purchase lighting. Think designer brands.

If you use the A and the L, try to do creatively. Maybe make a shape that doesn't really make it look like AL but that can be a symbol reflecting lighting.

Google Creative Lamp Designs images.

In terms of colors I think 2 tones at most.

Think Light. The definition of Lume is Light of Life. So lighting is an important detail to consider.

*Slogan: Light of Life
Please use it in the logo.

*Please see www.alphalume.com to get a feel for company.

Update (1-15-17 2:30am EST): The Logo Should be able to be used on the top center as well as on the left with the letters on the right.

Hi Everyone. Thank you for your submissions. We will be reviewing them throughout the day. I removed the Red and white logo since I believe it may have mislead everyone. Please read the description to see my comments about color. Honestly, red does not seem to be the right direction.

Hi everyone. After a long aND thorough debate we decided to extend the competition. All of the designs look fine but we came to a unanimous decision that none would represent the company according to our vision and offer a lasting presence as a brand. As you already know, a logo is the representation of a company and needs to carry the brand through years of business. This is not a simple process for us either but we hope the updated description and the website may help guide in the right direction.

I will be updating the description above every so often so please stay updated.

Hi All. We have seen many logos throughout the process while trying to find good examples. We also have designers in-house that have seen a ton of logos. So if we see something that looks too familiar we my dismiss it without any notice. We appreciate everyone's entries and effort.

This logo is simple and is very attractive by the way the gradients were made. Thiniking differently, the A does not need to be an A but could be represented upside down. I am just using this as an example, not that you should make something that looks like this one.

The image above is just an example of thinking differently about the logo. That it does not have to look like an AL.
