Company Intro：

MANTIS stands for Measurement AnalyTIcS<br>We are a high tech academic research lab focused on geospatial engineering and analytics including drones, photogrammetry, laser scanning, satellite remote sensing, mobile scanning, geographic information science (GIS), 3D point clouds, surveying, mapping, and computational approaches to assimilate geospatial data, process it, and transform it into actionable information. We work primarily in coastal-environmental problem domains but also focus on problems for defense. Our main emphasis is on the geospatial engineering aspects of emergent geosensing and mapping technology for precise measurement and study of our built and natural world.

MANTIS is an academic research lab at Texas A&M University that stands for Measurement AnalyTIcS. It would be cool to, perhaps, integrate the Measurement Analytics into the logo such as MANTIS - the Measurement Analytics Lab. Or perhaps MANTIS: Measurement ANalyTIcS Research or maybe just MANTIS Engineering. Open to all ideas. when thinking about our lab think Google Earth. A prototype website "in development" along with a rough logo can be seen at our website called www.mantisresearch.org. We want something with a techy, hip vibe such as might be done for an emergent silicon valley tech startup that also integrates a research feel. <br><br>
