Additional clarification regarding the logo it must either say Darcy OR Photography by Darcy but not both thanks - apologies for any confusion. I have also been asked to clarify - Darcy is Male. I am happy with Darcy as the logo if Photography by Darcy doesn't look right. <br>I need a logo design suitable for using on business card, website, invoices etc. for my new photography venture. I will be doing a range of photo work so the logo needs to concentrate on the brand and name rather than a type of photography. Design should focus on my name - Darcy but could even focus on the letter D. I like stylised designs, great typography is important but I also like logos with heraldic symbols, stars, wings, if a camera present then should also be stylised. I am thinking more a dark/black background- possibly with a gradient but not necessarily, slightly grungy background is ok if it still looks stylish. I intend the card to be printed with thick coloured edges to match - probably dark grey/silver. see images of my first attempts but as I cannot do typography then look forward to seeing what you can do.

many many thanks to all the great designers for their patience and innovative work, it has been really appreciated. Some came so close but just missed out and as the brand is likely to develop I look forward to using this system again.
