I found 48 Hours Logo by looking for &quot;aggressive&quot; fish logos to develop a concept for our new logo. Specifically, I found a contest for Pro Fish Intel. I was impressed with several of the designs. Sorjen, Ruthracam, AisRafa, Torzo. 
 
I like silhouettes of fish and/or hooks. I like the aggressive, abstract design of fish rather than friendly or literal. Definitely not cartoon like. Coho and king salmon are what people think of when you mention Pacific Northwest. Not marlin, tarpon, bass etc.. 
 
365 Charters should not be lost in the logo. The words and graphics should compliment each other. Some font styles position the 6 slightly above the 3 and 5. This is appealing to me because it is different, but not mandatory in a logo design. It really depends on the overall look. 
 
Colors - This logo will go on a white background, so it will stand out no matter what. Black letters for 365 Charters is fine. Other colors for the logo do not have to have earth tones. I would prefer to not have an area of color fade to a lighter color. This can be difficult when it comes to embroidery. Also, I would like to stay under 4 colors total. 
 
Lastly, I would like the logo to be wider than it is tall. I will put this on the boat and width is always greater than height.

I am elated with the customer service and design work I received from Sorjen.  This is a re-branding for our company and that in and of itself is stressful.  Sorjen listened to our description, needs and desires with this logo design.  Very good work, quick turnaround on submissions and excellent communication.
