The work tends to involve a lot of data gathering and problem solving. There's also some environmental and social non-profit (activism) work thrown in as well, but the nature of the work is the same.

Instructions：
Colors - Green, beige and whatever accent colors fit best. Colors that provide a sense of the outdoors, natural tones or a sense of environmentalism are preferred. Please stick with blue-tones (e.g. pine green and coffee brown/beige - or something along those lines).
Coordinate - My private blog (http://adoramyers.com/) will be connected to this website. The logos must compliment one another in both design and color. However, they also must be very clearly separate and distinct websites (one site is not an extension of the other, they are both part of a collection of projects that I own). The design of both websites will be addressed, professionally, sometime in the future.
Hierarchy - AdoraMyers.com falls under the umbrella of WildRaccoonPress.com. Future websites and projects will also fall under the Wild Raccoon. As the owner/editor of Wild Raccoon, AdoraMyers.com will be presented as a key element in the About and Contact pages of most (all?) Wild Racoon websites.
Graphics - Must include a drawing of a raccoon.
Image and Tone - The 'wild' in the name refers to wildlife and the outdoors. It also includes terms like freedom, adaptability, resilience, problem solving flexibility and independence. For the purposes of this logo, please focus on a drawing that depicts a raccoon in the wild.
Background - White
Logo Elements - I will need TWO versions:
1) Full color with full name and a drawing of raccoon
2) Small yet recognizable version consisting of just the initials or part of the raccoon and the initials or the raccoon and the URL - something that can be easily added to print publications (e.g.: spine of a book), the bottom of a publication or PowerPoint, and/or as a button on a website. At least one black and white version will be needed.

I have updated my contest to help with color selectsion. Please choose a green that is more blue than yellow in tone. Select a brown that matches the green, but I prefer a 'coffee' or beige kind-of color. The green is the primary color and, therefore, most important.
