• What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
The new identity should enable the organization to increase brand recognition and brand awareness amongst its stakeholders, target audience and sponsors, and help to establish a more professional appearance/presence.
We are seeking to increase our membership numbers, as well as increase raised funds.
• What are your long term goals?
Besides supporting The Colony public Library, the goal is to expand the provided services, expand the library’s facility and therefore significantly increase the fundraising activities.
Audience Profile
• Please describe your existing audience:
Our audience is the people in The Colony and Denton County and cities within Denton County who are Library card holders or potential card holders. Generally these are the folks who are willing to become members and support the organization through membership. We generally have targeted families who attend functions and patrons using the services which cover a wide array of demographics. We have not specifically approached teens and not sure if we have done will to reach young adult (20-30 year olds).
• Who would you like to add to your audience?
General population of The Colony, TX, surroundings communities and Denton County at large.
All ages, all financial and cultural backgrounds
• Perception/Tone/Guidelines
The image that we would like to put down for the FOTCPL is that it is a vibrant group of people who all seek to advance the quality of life in The Colony community (and surrounding areas). They are the driving force behind the community’s educational and cultural life.
• Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Support is a prominent element that we would like to see in the logo.
