Instructions：
We are looking for a classic hotel logo that represents traditional taste and professionalism.
We do not have a slogan or subtitle.
Please include 4 Stars to indicate our service offering.
Please don't use in initials FH in CAPITAL LETTERS. This is German for Fachhochschule (technical highschool). As we have a lot of German customers, this is an association we don't want. fh is ok but the more abstract, the better as there is a strong brand fv here in Ecuador (http://www.muchomejorecuador.org.ec/imgs/empresas/imagen/server/php/files/455-FranzV.jpg).
Earlier, I have written that we could use our city in the logo. However, we decided to drop that (at least from the logo), as we are neighbours with Hotel Cuenca. So, please, NO Cuenca in the logo ;)
The colors chosen are only a guideline for a first draft. The main colors in the hotel are dark red, beige and dark brown (wood).
Please use white background (to start with). The main use of the logo will be on paper (black & white invoices, etc.), printed advertising and the company website + social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
For the paper part, it would be good if the logo would work in simple black & white. The rest can do with colors but I prefer those to be kept to a minimum.

So far, the ideas and logos have been really great. I could easily pick quite a few of those logos as winners and there are still 2 days to go :)
If your logo is "not ranked" this means that we are not too sure of it yet. To keep things simple, I send those logos with dark background to the back. This doesn't mean that I don't like them. It's just that at this stage one version is enough...
