I am re-running my logo contest as the previous contest only received about 6 ideas where as my previous logo contest got 50 plus. I think part of the reason for small response the contest was near Thanksgiving?

Instructions：
I was hoping to get a logo VERY similar to "House Works" logo.... see attached image below or here is the link http://1.s3.envato.com/files/51151252/house-works-logo-showcase.jpg
Was also hoping for a couple of small tweaks to the House Works logo:
Tweak 1 -- Make the wrench look more like a wrench:
In the House-Works logo the wrench is not very clear it is a wrench. Would like wrench to jump out more like attached wrench, i.e. -- at angle, larger handle
Tweak 2 -- The House icon in the socket of the House Works wrench
Is an icon on a single-family house, Debt-Works is NOT buying single-family homes rather its buying commercial real-estate. Could we tweak and replace the single family house icon with the first shorter building on the attached image, i.e. the 8 window, 1 door building icon in the forefront of the third attachment (or NOT the taller Building Icon)

Quick FYI --
I also selected the participation pay option, however I noticed that only 1 of the 6 designers have been paid and cannot figure out how to pay the other 5
I will contact 48 Hour Logo to figure out how to pay the other 5 designers

Update I have asked the admin folks to turn on "participation pay" sometimes they take 1-2 days to respond but I will figure and make sure all designers who submit logo get paid the participation fee
