We are an online store that provides both useful information for drummers as well as specific products and accessories that drummers use. These products include Drum Skins, Cymbals, Drumsticks, etc. Basically all things a drummer would need to play drums and information they would want to know about!
Our target market is drummers, but this can be segmented by styles/genres of the music they play. Anywhere from playing fast and hard beats in a heavy metal band, to playing groovy beats in a funk band. I am a drummer myself and all style of drummers have the same understanding of drumming, and when it comes to buying equipment, one brand can easily relate to all styles.
With the name, I used the term FlimFlam because: *only drummers would know what that is; *It has a certain catchy ring to it; *and it sounds kind of fun and comical.

What does the ‘FlimFlam’ in the name mean? It is a drumming rudiment / sequence that drummers practice with which is QuickLeft/Right Hand and Quick Right/Left Hand (hard to explain if you’re not a drummer, so maybe best to YouTube it if your keen on finding out more.)

Where will this logo be used?
• On all types of merchandise such as t-shirts, hats
• Online (website, facebook, etc)
WHAT IS THE FIRST IMPRESSION WE WANT TO GIVE WHEN SOMEONE SEES THE LOGO?
• As this is aimed at drummers, it will need to look ‘Cool’, like a street label.
So cool they would love to wear it as a tshirt.
• It feels like an exclusive ‘drummers club’
OVERALL DESIGN OUTCOME WE WANT TO ACHIEVE
• As a first preference of use, I would like it on a black back with on white back as a second.
• The font should be not too serious, but kind of ‘relaxed’ and energetic
COLOURS
Open to suggestions but please remember it needs to look like street wear and speak out to a male demographic. Open to having colours but if you are to incorporate a colour it must be with a black or a dark charcoal. No fusion of colours please, we want to keep the logo simple.
