definitely would want to keep the graphic clean and simple but with a chic feel. I'm from Los Angeles so definitely give it that clean professional look, with a modern touch. (hope I make sense) 
PLEASE CONSIDER THESE COLOR VARIATIONS:
grey/ teal purple/teal /white/black grey/purple or any of these colors in variation! preferably whit backgrounds to create a clean simple look!

I like Bookman Old Style font ; I like simple, sleek, classic concepts.  Black lettering w some color ; greens/greys color schemes.  TF (an abbreviation for Terlau Financial) might also work well.
