Regarding colors, we are thinking about purple.

The word RUBUS in Latin refers to the Blackberry fruit.

We would like the logo to have an icon image at the top, more or less an icon that looks a lot like a letter R for the name of RUBUS.

I'm open to just about anything but am leaning towards something rugged, manly, para military, yet modern.
I'd like to have a Logo for the front of our shirts--sweaters--jackets, but our slogan on the back.  Unless the slogan could somehow be integrated with the Logo, done larger, and then put on the back in a larger size.

BintangDesign took a lot of initiative to present a variety of logo options, most of which could all have won. Then, as I provided feedback, she rapidly provided just the tweaks I needed to feel more than confident that we were headed down the right path. Thank you, BintangDesign!

Designers who take the description above into account in their design will receive the most attention. The logos 48hourslogo made me choose from weren't really what I'm looking for, though they are the closest to what I'm looking for among the choices given. I really appreciate all of you giving this a go. 
If you end up submitting multiple options, you'll be more likely to be my final choice if you check back in the description for added requests as your submissions help me understand better what it is I want. So throw me your best estimate of what I want, and then try again in a day or two if you don't see yourself ranking in the top spot.

Very talented and made the changes we requested promptly.  

Looking to update our last logo to a more professional design.  Something somewhat flashy but easier to read on shirts, stickers, ect.   I will attach our old logo that was designed here(has a kart image in it.   Also some other ideas that I found online.     They do not have to be like the samples I listed.  Open to ideas.

Please use the color scheme provided for the logo. Text can be any color, however the design will be used almost exclusively with a white background.
