- Women's Rugby FC -Southern Oregon University
- Company Intro：
- We are a Collegiate Women's Rugby Club. Founded in 2011, our program is quickly growing and making competitive gains in our area. As such we are now in need of a logo that uniquely represents our organization for marketing and recruitment potentials. We are looking for a slightly more complicated logo for print materials, to include screen printed clothing, with a center element that can stand alone for easier applique to jerseys and uniforms.
- Instructions：
- We are looking for a more traditional crest design for our center element, and Maybe a simple crown sitting atop the crest (shield). So far, we like the 4 quadrant design in block colors for the shield and we have a general shape in mind for it, but would be open to seeing other options too. We like the idea of having an Old English letter 'S' to symbolize our university in one quarter. Another element we like is the use of scroll work to wrap the crest. All designs must appear in the University colors Black, Red, and White. We need either just the S or overlapping letters 'SOU' and our Establish date 2011 to appear in the crest, and we would like to see WRFC somewhere in the design. We also want to see silhouetted Lady Ruggers of some sort bordering our crest my players love this concept and it will be one of our rugby club's unique elements. Ideas we have thrown around for incorporation include a rugby boot, rugby uprights, and maybe a pair of rugby boots hanging from the cross beam of the uprights. We're pretty open to other things as well, if you have a great idea, we would like to see it. Who knows maybe it will be what we have been searching for. Take a look at the included sketches for some quick form ideas that we have played with, but in the end we want to see Your interpretations and designs. Ultimately we want WOMEN'S RUGBY to be emphasized in both the lines and overall design of our logo. Meaning it needs to be bold, yet feminine at the same time. Also, finding a way to meld the elements of traditional rugby culture and our university's contemporary symbols together is important to us.
