- NOTE: Some are missing the point of why I am capitalizing some letters: Please do not make a divide (lines or color, etc.) between the S and T. ACTIVHISTorian OR use all upper case. If a divide is used, please divide between T and o. Thank you. My "industry" overlaps more than 1 category but consulting and education are the best matches. I want to work with non-profits, companies and educators who can understand the value of knowing the history of a challenge they are trying to address. If we do not know the history of a problem, we are unlikely to solve it. Asking historical questions about today's issues allows for a better understanding of the depth of the problem as well as the possibility that others have considered the same problem and found answers that have been ignored or forgotten. Overall and long-term, my goal is to democratize the historian's toolkit to help address today's problems. A tag line I've used at times is: If we don't know the history, we can't solve the problem.

- I'm not wedded to a version of this design but I played around in Canva just to get an idea of what might work for different formats and shapes. I have been using this version (also in red/black) but want better, more versatile quality and a design that has longevity--nothing that takes too long to read through and/or is too busy. I want a logo that is clear and immediately communities what it means and that works well in rectangular, square, and circular formats. I also want colors that work in terms of accessibility. No pastel-y shades please.
