Attached are some of the styles we like as well as a copy of our current logo (HQ Male Grooming). We like the idea of some kind of shield but would prefer something with a landscape view rather than portrait. 

Just wanting to modernise our logo really as we've had it 10 years now. However the we do really like the regal style of the attached Empire logo, but couldn't have anything too similar to this as it is another local barbershop and we wouldn't want to appear to be copying their design. Maybe a regal blue instead of the red they have and also we love that subtle pattern they have as their background. We would like to maybe have some subtle background pattern too. Maybe like a pressed tin type pattern. I have attached an example for reference but would be open to anything similar. 

We also want to include in the logo that we were established in 2011 (est. 2011). Also no HQ in the logo. We just want it spelt out in full.

Update - we really like number 12 and number 18 so far, although 12 has too much red.
