Lizard Butte Easter Sunrise Association

We are one of the longest running Easter sunrise services in the northwest; 84 years strong! Located just outside of Marsing, Idaho, we meet once a year on Easter morning to celebrate our risen Lord at sunrise atop a steep butte seemingly in the shape of a lizard. Geologically, it is a half crater, and a reminder of prehistoric days when the entire area was a seething mass of lava beds. It's a bit of a hike but oh, so worth the view. We're wanting to modernize the concept of our sunrise service that has been, until recent years, under the direction of the previous generations. We want to attract Millennial's and younger.
