They say that champions are made, not born, and here at 48HoursLogo we celebrate the works our designers create through the Logo of the Month competition. There are many great logo designs coming out every month, so we allow our community of artists to nominate one another for a little extra prize money and added respect. Each designer gets three votes to cast for whichever logo they think is the best, and within two weeks a winner is announced. The prize money is distributed to the creator’s of the first, second, and third place logo’s and the people who nominated them.
As a designer myself I look forward to the contest, it allows me to see incredible logo design that I may have missed. It also promotes good sportsmanship, giving us an opportunity to nominate someone who may have beaten us in a previous contest. So far the Logo of the Month contest has not been dominated by our top designers, indicating that it’s an even playing field for everyone who is currently competing at 48HoursLogo.com. That alone, I believe, promotes quality logo’s over the quantity of logos our designers create.
