We are a high energy physics research laboratory (including mathematics and astrophysics). We would like a logo that conveys that characteristics. Preferably in a modern, minimalist and subtile way. As for colors we have chosen a few colors above but we really like the combinatin of colors (and the fonts too) in the  logos (mtp and five)  below. A common symbol that typifies our research is the integral sign. Please avoid the use of a black background. A dark blue like the one in &quot;five&quot;  logo below (five) is quite good. No bckgrd or white backgrd is good too.<br />
The letters in the logo should be LAPTh (all capital letters apart from the **h**) no need for more writing.

My interaction with Republik has been excellent. Apart from the beauty of designs(s) Republik provided which made him a winner, I very much appreciated the fact that he really went through all the points in our description.  This meant that his first proposal was already close to what we wanted. Republik worked terribly fast and efficiently taking into account all our suggestions about improvement and giving advice about combinations of colours and what to avoid. I would also like to thank him for providing two versions (dark/white) and in particular his willingness to continue working on the design after he was picked as a winner.
