    Company Intro
puffintranslations translates scientific (biology, chemistry, ecology), recreational (outdoor, travelling) texts, and academic writing (papers) English-German and German-English. Target clients are individual (including university students) and corporate customers. The business is running on two domains: puffintranslations.com and puffintranslations.ch whereas puffintranslations.ch is the main domain at the moment.
    Instructions
The name is based on the Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica). The logo has to show a puffin! Just google "Atlantic puffin" and you'll see the bird. The logo should incorporate the name "puffintranslations". Since we use two different domains, it would be good to have two versions in the end, one with ".com" and one with ".ch". The business is web-based so the domain has to be in the logo. Idea: puffins are often carrying fish (Google "puffin fish"). One idea is to have a puffin carrying "bands" of letters from various scripts (latin, greek, sanscrit, bodik etc. (but no chinese characters!)) in its beak. This is just an idea, if you have another idea, go for it! Font: please use a sans-serif font, if possible open-source (such as Source Sans Pro by Adobe). Style: modern, flat (!) Variations: it should be possible to use the logo as a favicon (square, 16x16 px). Colors: the website will most likely be in teal color (#1abc9c). The logo does not have to use that color but it should "work" (look good) with that color. Plus, try to keep the colors bright (just like flat design (e.g. Material Design by Google)) and not too many. Try to get inspiration from the puffin (bird).
