Stahili Foundation is a non-profit organization that rescues and supports children who have been forced to work, abused, neglected and deprived of an education in rural Kenya.
Stahili takes its name from the Swahili word for ‘deserve’. We believe that every child can achieve his or her dreams through education. We also believe that education can help fight poverty and brighten the future for communities at large. Our mission is to use education to provide our children with a future that they deserve. Our logo will stand as a visual for this mission.
We are open to suggestions but would ideally like the Stahili logo to be primarily a word logo with a small graphic included. Our hope is that the graphic should be clean and modern!
Please do not use hands, books, children's fonts, and trees which are very common in logos. We would like our logo to be unique! We have thought of incorporating a backpack as an idea.
