Spring Valley Family Farms is a collection of 12 farms in Tennessee that the family has owned and farmed for over 100 years. We sell natural beef and pure honey.

SVF raises natural beef and makes pure honey so a logo that has the feel of a farmers market would be nice. Fresh from the farm, natural, etc.
The family farm has been around over 100 years, the logo should reflect that heritage while appealing to our customers too. Our customers are those interested in purchasing natural beef (no hormones or antibiotics) and honey. We want a logo that is traditional but not old fashioned. We don't want anything too cliché or generic. We hope to grow SVF into a regional beef and honey brand so it needs to be unique.
The name Spring Valley Farms was chosen because the nearly 2000 acres include numerous fresh water springs. Initial thought would be to avoid images of a cow, bull or bee in the logo since the farm will likely expand products in the coming years.

We asked our Facebook followers for feedback on tags for our honey by posting the attached photo. The consensus was the tag on the left which we preferred as well.

Want to make sure everyone is aware that the logo file we uploaded is the current logo we are using. There are certainly some qualities of this logo we enjoy (color, simplicity) but you should not feel restrained creatively by the current logo.

Thanks for all the great designs submitted so far. They are really great! We are going to upload a couple of new design inspiration images this morning to add a little variety to the concepts.
