- Nostie comes from the drunken mispronunciation & misspelling of Carnoustie. Carnoustie is a famous golf course in Scotland. We like the concept of a Gaelic logo. *********IMPORTANT************* We are not looking for a flag w/ a golf ball, golf club and a hole in the ground. We would like the logo to infer golf without literally showing a picture of golf... be abstract. Also, not that interested in just a font. Would like some intricate letter work.
