EpiBiome is a new Bay Area start up focusing on characterizing the Genes of Everyday Life and researching life-style correlates to the cloud of microorganisms that follow us through life. Recent research has determined that the human microbiome, the collection of organisms that cohabit on and around our bodies, has large correlation to a person’s health and wellbeing. We are actively engaging in high throughput gene sequencing to determine the genetic makeup of the organisms that reside with us, and to categorize their symbiotic and parasitic relationships with us, their hosts.
