The text "GoProFanatics.com" must be included in the logo.
Target demographic: 18-35 male. Most of our members are into action and extreme sports.
We're looking for a logo that is modern and reflects the technology of the camera. You can play with the shades of colors but we do like red, white, blue and black.
The logo must integrate well with our existing forum style/color scheme. Please see our site: www.goprofanatics.com
The logo must be versatile enough to be used on the website, social media pages, printed on stickers, t-shirts, hats, lanyards. We prefer simplicity over busy/complicated.
If you decide to use a camera image or outline, please do not use a generic camera - the GoPro camera has a very distinct and recognizable shape.
Our vision and intention is that the forum members who receive our stickers will want to place them on their sports equipment (snowboard, skis, helmet, etc) or on their car, boat, jet ski. So it is crucial that the 18-35 target demographic is taken into consideration when designing the logo.

We prefer when everything is on one or two lines max. We don't like when .com is by itself sideways or on its own line.
We also don't want a symbol that is too overpowering.

We would also like to see some submissions with a wireframe or outline of the camera. This could act as the symbol if it is separate from the font/text.
If it is by itself, it could be placed on some sort of badge or shield perhaps.

By the way, we are still interested in seeing basic designs which include only text so the wireframe camera concept is not totally necessary.
However, the font has to be powerful enough to be by itself.

We would be interested in seeing some designs that incorporate some sort of mascot to represent GoProFanatics.com
We would envision someone similar to superman wearing a GoPro on his chest with the GoPro chest mount.
