HEY COREL GUYZ

Postby mashoodpp » Fri Mar 23, 2012 10:26 am

Hi CorelDraw designers,

I need your help... I am using CorelDraw11 for graphic designing. I really like this software than other designing tools like Adobe illustrator, Indesign, inkscape etc. I know 11 version is not latest. But I have not tested latest versions of coreldraw. Mainly I am designing with 'OPTIMISED FOR WEB' Colors. The Problem is....

SOME TIMES THE CLIENT ASKING THE FINAL PACKAGE WITH .AI OR .EPS FILE FOR EMBROIDERY AND PRINTING USES.
THEN I 'EXPORT' IT TO .EPS OR .AI FORMAT FROM CORELDRAW. WHEN I OPENING THOSE FORMATS IN ILLUSTRATOR, I AM SEEING THE CHANGES IN COLOURS AND SHADES. NOT RIGHT COLOR OF MY DESIGN. I HAVE TRIED WITH DIFFERENT COLOUR SCHEME LIKE CYMK, RGB, ETC. SOME TIMES IT VARRIES THE REAL STYLE OF THE GRAPHICS.
can any corel lovers suggest me to solve this problem? If I try to buy new version, can fixed???. I can't move to other completely different software like illustrator. Because I have several year's experience with this software.

Hope your right replies...
Machu :P

Try CorelDRAW X5. It has perfect colors like Adobe Illustrator.

agree with you arabz, X5 better than old corel version.
but still miss color if save as .AI not same RGB or CMYK use in corel.
my solution, sometimes make color code RGB again in .AI or EPS make it same with original file in corel file.
different color (more dark in .AI) usually happens when gradient color, try without gradient before save as your .eps from coreldraw, open in illustrator make gradient follow your final file.
hi arabz do you alredy try corel X6? I'm not yet, wait your review. :)

Hi, GC... Not yet. C***ked version of X6 is unavailable I think. Hahaa...

I'm now looking for Windows 8 Beta version. Some says it's much better and coolest than Windows 7. I ever watched news on a local TV that Gates has released it a few times ago. What about you?

Why don't you buy a new PC? Upgrade your old PC maybe? I saw you've won several contests recently. ;)

Hahaa... Yes, we're out of topic. Let's go back to the main topic. By the way, did you get your copy of CorelDRAW legally?

I believe there is a work around for this; you can turn your corel draw file into a PDF File and choose prepress. This file can then be opened in AI and then save it in EPS there. The gradient will be the same in this technique. I hope this helps.
